The Castle of Valbona was built for the defense of the territory. It is a real manor house and to establish with certainty the date of its construction is impossible, but it is known that it already existed in the first half of the 13th century. The Castle of Valbona has an almost rectangular plan, with sides of about forty and twenty-five meters. It has four hexagonal towers, crowned with Ghibelline and Guelph merlons, two square-plan towers, now without battlements, and a square-shaped tower with no battlements, almost in the middle of the castle. The access doors are two with both a next to a security door. Internally the castle is well preserved and is available for meetings, events in general and weddings.***
